The concept behind CRAYONBOX is that of the limited edition. Since each item is hand-knitted using yarns that are prepared, handspun and dyed in small batches, they will always vary slightly in color and pattern, making each product unique. Each season a new collection emerges; very often a particular color, design concept, or amazing fiber find is responsible for the direction it takes. CRAYONBOX invites you to explore and enjoy our products.

WHAT ARE THE MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES?

My materials are gathered from eco-friendly sources. Raw fibers are purchased from farms that practice humane conditions and raise flocks that are primarily for fleece. These fibers are processed by hand, and hand-spun. Finally, the yarns are hand-knitted into a range of products and finished by fulling, a process that shrinks the fibers but retains a soft and flexible hand.

CARE AND STORAGE SUGGESTIONS

My yarns are not chemically mothproofed, but all have a final rinse in essential oils of lavender, cedar and eucalyptus. Woolen goods should always be clean when stored for long periods of time. CRAYONBOX products can be dry-cleaned or hand-washed as with any other fine woolen item.

SIZING
